In February this year, Chris Pratt divulged pertinent information regarding the cast for the highly anticipated threequel Jurassic World: Dominion during an appearance with Ellen DeGeneres, comparing the film with Avengers level stakes.

“It’s got everybody,” Chris explained. “It’s got pretty much everybody in it.”

“Maybe I just blew it, but I don’t care. All the cast from the original Jurassic Park is coming back. It’s going to feel very much like how Endgame brought everything together for Marvel,”finishing with, “It’s a massive movie, it’s a big movie. We’ll be all over the world. The story is really, really engaging, really cool. It’s gonna be big.”

In a recent interview with Yahoo! UK, Sam Neil expanded on their return to confirm that he and his fellow cast members Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum will not only return but will indeed feature throughout the new movie as oppose to cameos, “We’re all the way through the film, Jeff, and me, and Laura.”

Their characters Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Ian Malcolm have only appeared on-screen together in the original 1993 Spielberg smash Jurassic Park. Goldblum’s Dr. Malcolm had a brief role in the 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom but did not feature in 2001’s Jurassic Park 3, which had recurring roles for Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be sharing not only the screen but also accommodation for production of the film amidst lockdown measures currently in place in the UK. On this Neill shares, “We’re all going to be living in the same joint for three or four months, so that’s going to be fun. And everybody loves Chris and Bryce as well, so I think we’ll be a very happy bunch.” Sounds fun.

Jurassic World: Dominion is scheduled for a June 2021 release date and if it’s half as good as Chris Pratt’s enthusiasm for it then we’re all in for a treat.
